IMPORTANT:To fulfill the Girl Scout requirement for a level 1 First Aider a leader must have both First Aid and CPR certification.

Red Cross blended learning training meets the Girl Scout guidelines for first aid programs and combines interactive online training featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments and hands-on skills training to teach participants lifesaving skills. Segments include: * First Aid: Participants learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts and scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold related emergencies. * CPR: Participants learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults and children and to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. * AED: Participants learn how to use automatic external defibrillators Certifications: First Aid, CPR/AED-Adult, Child, Infant Good for: 2 years Cost: $35 YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE TRAINING COURSE PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS SCHEDULED SKILLS SESSION Please do not wait until the last min to register for these classes!
